STRENGTH & HYROX CYCLE

With the MOV.E Open in the rearview, we look to our next training cycle which will run April through June. The focus of this training cycle will be on building strength and preparing for HYROX (Melb – 29 & 30 June, Syd 27 July).

Specifically, our strength work will centre on Upper Body Pull & Push and Lower Body Push. Our conditioning work will have a HYROX theme, with targeted work on the movements that feature in HYROX events with [OPTIONAL] longer Aerobic Training that can be incorporated into your weekly training.

Expect to see a few ENDURANCE classes popping up in the lead-up to the MELB HYROX. These sessions will be 90 minutes, allowing for longer workouts that will mimic the time domain of the HYROX event.

We had such a great time at HYROX last year, so if you’re looking for an event to keep you motivated as we enter the cooler months, this is a great training goal. There are various categories to choose from, making this event accessible to ALL fitness levels.
